Natural, Crushed Walnut Shells.

• Recommended to be used as a non-contact bedding. Use only in cages with grates separating litter from birds.

• Create an even layer of Kaytee walnut litter 1/2 to 1 inch deep in bottom of cage.

• Remove soiled litter daily or as often as necessary.

• At least once a week, remove all litter and wash enclosure with a mild soap solution. Rinse cage thoroughly with clean water to ensure the removal of soap residue.

• Frequency of cage cleaning depends on the size of your pet’s home and number of animals.

• Always replace soiled litter with fresh product.

• Discarded litter can be used as compost.
